Costs
Guitar and ukulele lessons are offered to 3rd graders and up, either privately, or as a class. Private one-on-one lessons are 30 minutes in length, while classes of 2 or more students are 45 minutes in length. Lessons and classes are offered in Mandarin, Fruit Cove, and Ponte Vedra. Each 12-week semester for either a private lesson or a group lesson costs $264. For guitar lessons, there is a one-time start-up fee of $50 that covers the cost of the book/CD used, a Snark tuner, a music stand, and picks.
Make-up Policy
24 hours notice is required to properly cancel and ensure that a missed lesson will be made up. However, sudden illness or an emergency situation will be taken into consideration. Please note that each 12-week semester is followed by two open weeks in which I will do up to 2 make-ups if any lessons have been missed. Any lessons that are canceled by me over and above the 2 allowed per semester will be made up or reimbursed.
Dates for 2022-23
Semester I: August 15- November 11, with no classes October 17-21 and Thanksgiving Week. Any make-ups needed would be done the week before and the week after Thanksgiving week.
Semester II: January 9-April 7, with no classes the week of Spring Break, March 13-17. Any make-ups needed would be done during April 10-21.
Summer Semester: April 24-July 14. Make-ups needed would be done during July 17-28, if not before. For this session, you may also choose the dates you are able to attend and only pay for those dates. After all, summertime is more flexible!
